  My partner and I visited PC World in Fosse Park in Leicester a few weeks back. The issue we were having concerned the c.d disc tray which failed to play any c.ds or dvds. We spoke to one of the assistants and he informed us straight away that he knew what the problem was and could fix it for us. He told us that the only down side was that it would cost us £50 to get fixed. Grateful that he could be fixed and we wouldnt need to buy a new laptop we said that was fine! We expected him to have to take the disc tray out or go into the back room and do something to it (I dont know!?), however, once he had told us the price and we agreed to pay it, he had already been running a programme to reactivate the disc tray. It took him less than 2 minutes to correct the issue. When he said it was fixed we were shocked. Youre probably thinking well thats great he did it so quickly and fair enough sure it was; however, forking out £50 for 2 minutes did not feel fair! I questioned what he had done to correct it so quickly and he joyfully replied Oh I just ran a little programme, like to be fair, its one of the simplest things to do - there are even youtube clips nowadays that people have uploaded to show how to fix this problem, its very common. You could have just googled it!. So I replied so why didnt you just tell us to look it up on youtube instead of robbing us of £50?. He had no answer.
  Myself and my partner are not very computer literate so I felt that this guy seen us coming. I just wanted to let others now that if you do have a problem with your disc tray perhaps google it before travelling to your nearest PC world and spending £50 on something you could have done at home in 2 minutes.
  Very disappointed.
  Will not be going back to PC world for anything again!
